In this remote position, we are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in testing, data analysis, automation development, and API design.
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, defining, executing, and maintaining robust test cases and automation frameworks. Your work will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our systems and products.
Responsibilities
- Day to day: writing test cases, executing tests, update/creating test data, executing automation scripts, and test planning.
- Full lifecycle software testing, including requirement analysis, documentation/ procedures, and test implementation.
- Contribute to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
- Work cross-functionally with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
- Develop, store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years software testing experience
- 2+ years scripting experience with Python or Java
- 2+ years SQL experience
- Test case development and execution
- Pytest
- Experience testing APIs
- Databricks

- ISTQB CTFL Certified
- Jupyter Labs or Notebook
- Software development experience or background

- The Seattle base salary range for this full-time position is up $159k. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
